Summer is right around the corner!

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with our Joseph Fund Scholars at Camden Catholic to hear about their excellent progress this academic year. As they look ahead to exciting summer opportunities, we invite you to play a unique role in the lives of our Scholars by sending them words of encouragement.
UPDATE, May 28: THANK YOU for the incredible messages that we were able to pass on to our scholars before the school year came to a close! Your support means more to them than you know.
Dauda, rising sophomore
Dauda is flourishing at Camden Catholic. He is currently enrolled in Honors English and Honors History. He is proud to have an A in Computer Information Systems. Dauda will spend his summer interning for the City of Camden and volunteering at local nonprofits. Last year, he participated in a food drive, and he happened to see Patience walking her dog!
Adriana, rising junior
Adriana is a Holy Name alumna who is finishing her sophomore year strong, adding fourth quarter grades of a 90 in Spanish and a 93 in Math. As she gets excited for her junior year in the fall, she’s also looking forward to celebrating her summer birthday with her family. Her parents gave her the option of a party or a trip… she chose the trip. Bon voyage, Adriana!
Patience, rising sophomore
Patience is completing her first year at Camden Catholic after graduating from KIPP Academy in Camden. She’s excelling at both Math and Computer Information Systems, finishing with A’s in both classes. She continues to embrace her life at Camden Catholic by participating in cheer and piano. She’s already looking forward to her sophomore year! Over the summer, she hopes to find a job working at a restaurant or retail store and was recently asked to coach a local cheer team.
