The Joseph Fund spent the morning with our Camden Catholic Scholars.

The Joseph Fund was grateful for the chance to spend time with our Scholars as Camden Catholic High School hosted its annual scholarship breakfast! This gathering brought students and donors together, creating space for genuine conversations and a deeper appreciation of the transformation happening in Camden.
Featured above are this year’s Joseph Fund Scholars. We’ll be spotlighting each one throughout the year.

Adrianna Junior
Adrianna pours her free time into fundraising for childhood cancer research through the Lemon Club, where she also helps spread positivity with random acts of kindness. She’s deeply connected to her family: one of her two siblings is a Joseph Fund graduate, and she is carrying on her dad’s Camden Catholic legacy. Every morning, her mother drives her to school before heading to work at a cleaning service, a routine that underscores the family’s commitment to her education. Adrianna has also competed in track and field, adding to the well-rounded high school experience that’s preparing her for a bright future.
Emely Freshman
Emely just completed her first swim season, adding another exciting chapter to her freshman year at Camden Catholic. Outside of school, she enjoys keeping a family tradition alive by making fresas con crema and satisfies her sweet tooth with desserts whenever she can. Emely also has a strong interest in math and enjoys the challenges that come with it. Her dedication in the classroom, commitment in the pool, and appreciation for family traditions reflect the bright future ahead of her.
Richard Senior
Richard is preparing to begin an exciting new chapter as he finishes his senior year at Camden Catholic. He has applied to nursing programs at Rowan and a school in Indiana, taking the next steps toward a career dedicated to helping others. Outside the classroom, Richard is gearing up for another bowling season while reflecting on the friendships, experiences, and personal growth that have shaped his high school journey. His commitment to his goals, strong work ethic, and gratitude for the opportunities he has received reflect the promising future that lies ahead.
Mirlenis Graduate
Mirlenis is our first Gloucester Catholic High School graduate! For Mirlenis, being a Joseph Fund Scholar was confirmation that others believe in her potential. She’s grateful for the opportunity and plans to continue playing sports while pursuing a career in the medical field. With her drive, heart, and determination, we know she’s on the path to making a difference in the world.
