Something Special for Our Youngest Scholars!

It was an emotion-packed day as 50 Joseph Fund Scholars in the Procacci Family Summer Enrichment Program received brand-new backpacks generously gifted by the Paris Corporation!

Laughter and excitement filled the air as students cheerfully swung their backpacks back and forth to hear the jingling of its contents. As you can guess with preschool students, when one started, the rest of the class followed!

Students couldn’t wait to unzip their bags to take a peek inside. They were excited to show their caregivers all the new supplies their family could use this school year. One student was even moved to tears.

We are so grateful for the staff, faculty, and high school volunteers who spend their summers at St. Joseph Child Development Center providing Camden’s children with a solid foundation for the academic school year in a safe, secure, and enriching environment.

Education takes place beyond just September through June, and we thank our incredible Joseph Fund family for uplifting our Scholars year-round.
